Some men want two things from an ED plan: something steady in the background, so there is less to plan around, and something on demand for the nights they do plan. CLYR's Performance Stack puts those two ideas in one order: 90 days of daily generic tadalafil 5mg and 30 CLYR Tempo tablets, billed once. Because both contain a PDE5 inhibitor, the most important part of this stack is not the price. It is that a licensed provider decides whether the two belong together for you at all, and if so, exactly how you use them.
The short answer
The Performance Stack pairs tadalafil 5mg (90 tablets, one a day) with CLYR Tempo (30 on-demand tablets). It is $330, billed once, with Stack & Save already in the price. A licensed provider reviews each prescription separately and sets the schedule, both ship together in one plain box, and nothing renews on its own. Details live on the Performance Stack page.
Two schedules, one drug class
Daily tadalafil 5mg: the baseline
Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor. It relaxes smooth muscle in blood vessels and supports blood flow when a man is aroused; it does not create arousal on its own. Its half-life is about 17.5 hours, which is why a low dose taken at the same time every day keeps a fairly steady level in the body. Taken that way, there is nothing to time. Once-daily tadalafil was tested against placebo in randomized trials, including one in men who had not reached normal function on as-needed tablets, and it is FDA-approved for ED. The 5mg daily dose is also FDA-approved for the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH).
CLYR Tempo: on demand
Tempo is a mint tablet that melts under the tongue and is used on demand, not daily. Each tablet carries sildenafil 25mg (the shorter-acting PDE5 inhibitor), tadalafil 10mg (the longer-acting one), citrulline 50mg, and L-theanine 60mg. For what each active does, see Inside CLYR Tempo.
Why this pairing needs a provider
Here is the plain version. Tempo already contains two PDE5 inhibitors, and daily tadalafil is a third dose from the same class. On a day you use both, you are taking tadalafil from two sources plus sildenafil. The FDA labels for both drugs say combinations with other PDE5 inhibitors have not been studied. The tadalafil label tells patients not to take it with other PDE5 inhibitors, and the sildenafil label says such combinations may lower blood pressure further and are not recommended. A small 2015 trial of 180 men found that adding as-needed sildenafil to daily tadalafil improved erection scores in men with severe ED, with no difference in reported side effects. One small study is not a safety record, though, and it did not test Tempo.
So the stack is not an instruction to take both. A licensed provider looks at your history, blood pressure, and every medication you take, then decides whether and how the two can be used together, and sets the schedule. That may mean both on a defined plan, one or the other on different days, or only one of the two. Follow the plan on your label, not the name of the pack.
What is in the box
These are the standard strengths listed on CLYR's product pages. Your provider decides how you use each one.
- Tadalafil 5mg: 90 tablets, a three-month supply of FDA-approved generic tadalafil. One tablet at the same time each day, with or without food, and never more than one in 24 hours.
- CLYR Tempo: 30 tablets, each with tadalafil 10mg, sildenafil 25mg, citrulline 50mg, and L-theanine 60mg, dissolved under the tongue. On demand, on the schedule your provider writes.
The two are different kinds of medicine. Generic tadalafil is FDA-approved. Tempo is a compounded medication, made for you by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy from your prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not verify their safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are sold. The Tempo combination has not been FDA-approved as a finished product.
What it costs
90 and 30: $330, billed once
Ninety tablets of tadalafil 5mg and thirty CLYR Tempo tablets, both prescriptions in one plain box, provider messaging included, shipping included. Bought separately at list price, Tempo 30 is $258 and tadalafil 5mg is $124.99, which adds up to $382.99. The stack price of $330 already has Stack & Save applied. There is no membership fee, and nothing renews on its own.
What Stack & Save means
According to the stack page, Stack & Save is the shipping CLYR does not pay when products ride in one box, plus a saving on multi-month packs. It is applied automatically at checkout. It is not a code, and there is nothing to enter.
Who it is for, and who should start with one
The stack fits men whose provider thinks a daily baseline makes sense and who also want an on-demand option for planned occasions, after the provider has confirmed the combination is safe for them. It can also suit men who already take daily tadalafil and want both refills in one order.
If you have never taken an ED medication, starting with one product is the simpler path: you learn how your body responds to one drug before adding another. The same goes for anyone on blood pressure medication or an alpha-blocker, where the provider may want to start low with a single drug. The stack is for men, and it ships to most states.
How the telehealth flow works
- One questionnaire. History, blood pressure, and current medications for the first product, then a short set of health questions for the second. Finishing it costs nothing.
- Two separate reviews. Tadalafil 5mg and Tempo are separate prescriptions, and a licensed provider reviews each one on its own, including whether the two can be used together. If treatment is not appropriate, you receive a full refund.
- One box. Both prescriptions ship together from a licensed U.S. pharmacy in plain packaging with tracking.
- Adjust from the portal. Questions about timing, side effects, or dose go to your provider by message, with no charge to ask.
Safety: the part to read twice
Absolute no's
Do not take tadalafil or sildenafil, in any form, if you use nitrates (nitroglycerin tablets, sprays, or patches, isosorbide, or recreational "poppers" such as amyl nitrite) or riociguat, a medicine for pulmonary hypertension. Together they can drop blood pressure to a dangerous level. Because daily tadalafil keeps a steady level in your body, tell any emergency team that you take it and when you took your last dose.
Cautions to raise with your provider
- Alpha-blockers (often used for prostate symptoms or blood pressure): both drug types lower blood pressure. The labels say you should be stable on the alpha-blocker first and start the ED drug at a low dose.
- Blood pressure medicines: PDE5 inhibitors can add to their effect. Very low or uncontrolled high blood pressure needs a provider's review first.
- Alcohol: five or more drinks with tadalafil can bring on dizziness, a faster heartbeat, and a drop in blood pressure when you stand up.
- Other medicines: some antifungals, HIV medicines, and antibiotics can raise tadalafil levels, and grapefruit juice likely does too. List everything you take, including supplements.
The heart-health check
Sex is physical activity, so your provider asks whether your heart is healthy enough for it before prescribing any ED medication. Men with a heart attack in the last 90 days, a stroke in the last six months, unstable angina, angina during sex, heart failure in the last six months, uncontrolled heart rhythm problems, very low blood pressure, or uncontrolled high blood pressure were not included in the tadalafil trials, and the label does not recommend it for them. Be complete and honest on the questionnaire.
Do not double up
Take only what is on your label. Do not add an extra Tempo, shorten the time between doses, or take any other ED medication, including tablets from another prescriber, a gas station, or an overseas website. If you want more effect, message your provider instead of adjusting it yourself.
Side effects
Common ones listed on CLYR's pages and the labels are headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, back pain, and muscle aches. They are usually mild. Tell your provider if they bother you.
When to get emergency care
Call 911 or go to an emergency room for an erection lasting more than four hours, chest pain (stop sexual activity right away), sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes, or sudden decrease or loss of hearing. Tell the team you take tadalafil and sildenafil, and when you took the last dose.
If you only need one
If you want a steady routine with nothing to time, tadalafil 5mg on its own is $124.99 for 90 tablets, about $1.39 a day. If you would rather take something only when it matters, CLYR Tempo on its own is $129 for ten tablets or $258 for thirty. If the erection works but interest has faded, the Desire Stack pairs Tempo with a desire medication instead. You can also build your own combination on the stacks page.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Performance Stack a subscription?
No. $330 is one payment for 90 tadalafil 5mg tablets and 30 CLYR Tempo tablets. Nothing renews on its own. When you run low, you reorder.
Is the stack cheaper than buying the two separately?
Yes. Tempo 30 lists at $258 and tadalafil 5mg 90 at $124.99, or $382.99 together. The stack price of $330 already includes Stack & Save, applied automatically at checkout.
Can I take daily tadalafil and Tempo on the same day?
Only if your provider says so. Both contain PDE5 inhibitors, and the FDA labels say combinations of these drugs have not been studied and are not recommended. Your provider decides whether and how the two can be used together and writes the schedule. Never take both with nitrates or riociguat.
Is Tempo FDA-approved?
No. Tempo is a compounded medication, prepared for you by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy, and the combination has not been FDA-approved as a finished product. The tadalafil 5mg in this stack is an FDA-approved generic.
How is it shipped?
Both prescriptions ship together from a licensed U.S. pharmacy in one plain box with tracking, at no extra cost. Your statement reads CLYR Health.
The bottom line
Daily tadalafil 5mg and on-demand Tempo work on the same pathway on different schedules. The Performance Stack puts both into one questionnaire, two separate provider reviews, one box, and one payment of $330. Whether you use them together, and how, is your provider's call, not the pack's. If you only want one schedule, start with that product alone.
