No. It is a compounded prescription, not an FDA-approved drug. In October 2026, HHS said FDA does not intend to take enforcement action against state-licensed 503A pharmacies that compound MOTS-c for individual patients while it completes its review. That is not an approval.

An injection under the skin or into the muscle. Your provider chooses the form, the dose and the schedule.

Those vials are sold “for research use only,” with no prescription and no provider. At CLYR a licensed provider reviews you first, and a state-licensed pharmacy prepares MOTS-c for you by name.

Important Safety Information

MOTS-c is a compounded prescription and is not FDA-approved. It is available only after a licensed provider independently reviews your health history and determines that it is appropriate for you, and it is prepared for you by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy. In October 2026, HHS announced that FDA does not intend to take enforcement action against qualifying 503A compounding of certain peptides, including MOTS-c, while it completes its review. That policy is not an FDA approval. Most research on MOTS-c is early, and its long-term safety in people has not been established. Do not start any peptide on your own, and do not use products sold for research use only. Tell your provider about every medicine you take, and about pregnancy or breastfeeding, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease and allergies. MOTS-c is on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list. Individual results vary. Joining the list is not a prescription, a purchase or a medical review. This page is informational and is not medical advice. Call 911 in an emergency.
