No. It is a compounded prescription, not an FDA-approved drug. In October 2026, HHS said FDA does not intend to take enforcement action against state-licensed 503A pharmacies that compound Semax for individual patients while it completes its review. That is not an approval.

Important Safety Information

Semax is a compounded prescription and is not FDA-approved. It is available only after a licensed provider independently reviews your health history and determines that it is appropriate for you, and it is prepared for you by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy. In October 2026, HHS announced that FDA does not intend to take enforcement action against qualifying 503A compounding of certain peptides, including Semax, while it completes its review. That policy is not an FDA approval. Most research on Semax is early, and its long-term safety in people has not been established. Do not start any peptide on your own, and do not use products sold for research use only. Tell your provider about every medicine you take, and about pregnancy or breastfeeding, cancer, liver disease, kidney disease and allergies. Individual results vary. Joining the list is not a prescription, a purchase or a medical review. This page is informational and is not medical advice. Call 911 in an emergency.
