What a PDE5 tablet does
Sildenafil and tadalafil belong to a drug class called PDE5 inhibitors. They relax smooth muscle in blood vessels and support blood flow when a man is already aroused. They do not create arousal on their own. That is why a man can have a reliable erection on a PDE5 tablet and still feel that the interest is missing.
What PT-141 does
PT-141 is bremelanotide, a medication that acts on melanocortin receptors in the brain, pathways involved in sexual desire and arousal. It does not work through blood vessels. CLYR's version pairs bremelanotide with a low dose of oxytocin in a tablet that dissolves under the tongue. How checkout and review work
- One questionnaire. History, blood pressure, and current medications for the first product, then a short set of health questions for the second. Finishing it costs nothing.

Who should not use it
Your provider screens every case, but some conditions are hard stops. Neither medication is appropriate for anyone who takes nitrates or alpha-blockers, has uncontrolled high blood pressure or known cardiovascular disease, or has had a recent heart attack or stroke. PT-141 is also not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Common side effects listed on CLYR's pages: PT-141 most often causes nausea, especially with the first doses, along with flushing, headache, and a temporary rise in blood pressure; with repeated use some people notice darkening of the skin. Tempo can cause headache, flushing, nasal congestion, back pain, and indigestion. Seek immediate care for an erection lasting more than four hours or for sudden vision or hearing changes.
